Our Story
GREEN BEGINNINGS
Folium Pura is a family owned hydroponics farm in Ahmedabad, India. Having spent our entire lives in the semi-arid climes of Gujarat, we would take every opportunity to travel far north to unwind and detox.
In those foggy mountains and valleys of the north, the food always tasted better. The greens were greener, and the tomatoes were juicier; we would even have access to fresh herbs every now and then.
Upon returning, we’d find ourselves craving for those clean, pesticide-free green vegetables and herbs from the hills.
We knew we had to find a way to grow our own food. We also wanted to extend the love to our friends and an ever-growing community of those who believe in clean eating and healthy living.

HYDROPONICS IN INDIA
The next step was to start growing leafy green vegetables, healthy microgreens, fresh herbs, and exotic edible flowers in Ahmedabad.
We partnered with some of the best botanists and agronomists to make this possible.
The way forward involved embarking on a long yet rewarding journey of much exploration, learning, unlearning, and relearning about the best ways to grow and consume food.
Launched with much love and care, Folium Pura is our family owned hydroponics farm where we grow our own leafy green vegetables, microgreens, and herbs using soil-less agriculture or hydroponics.
Hydroponic vegetables turn out more nutrient-rich, remain better hydrated, and have a fresher feel. The taste of such herbs and veggies also tends to be more pronounced.
There is a certain freshness and aliveness to hydroponic green vegetables and herbs that is unparalleled.
